JET Placement!!!

I finally found out my JET placement today! I requested Nagoya as my first choice because most of the exchange students I’ve worked with live there, Shizuoka second because I also have friends there, and Fukuoka third because my grandfather went there during WWII. I also requested to be put in a suburban area, so that I could get more of a cultural experience but still be convenient enough to not have to buy a car. I also really wanted to be in the south because I don’t really care for cold weather. 

I heard that they don’t really consider your placements, but I have a hard time believing that after getting my placement. I’ll be in Mie-ken, Suzuka-shi, which is only about an hour away from Nagoya and a smaller city!
